Why a body oil, you ask?
When it comes to new product development, our top priority is to nurture the Biologi ethos of plant powered skincare that provides a non-traditional solution to traditional skincare problems, and this includes the body.
With a rising trend and demand for body health and skin products that are natural, without fragrance, fillers or synthetic ingredients, we aspired to create and deliver a conscientious body oil to fulfill this demand and the needs of our customers.
‘The significance of introducing a body oil regularly into your body care regime cannot be dismissed; body oils help lock in moisture, increase hydration, strengthen skin barrier, provide deep nourishment, and they are quick to act, leaving the skin soft, supple and revived’, explains Biologi founder, Ross Macdougald.
An intentional blended oil, Hydrate Body Oil is the result of three well researched cold pressed plant oils.
Nourishing Macadamia Seed Oil delivers lightweight protection to aid with fortifying the skin barrier and helping to lock in vital moisture.
Soothing Elderberry Seed Oil assists with strengthening and safeguarding the skin against free radical damage.
Hydrating Sea Buckthorn Fruit Oil provides the skin with superior skin suppleness and helps to assist with skin healing.
Perfectly portioned, Hydrate Body Oil contains skin loving vitamins and nutrients like vitamin E to help soothe, calm and provide healing properties whilst assisting to keep moisture levels in the skin with its water binding properties.
Alpha linoleic and linoleic essential fatty acids aid in supporting a healthy skin barrier, reducing redness and providing antioxidant protection, whilst oleic and rare palmitoleic fatty acids aid in the integrity of skin barrier strength, helping to reinforce cell membranes and assisting with reducing trans epidermal water loss.
Hydrate Body Oil is fragrance free and highly recommended for all skin types and conditions that require body hydration and nourishment, including dry, dehydrated and sensitive skin conditions, providing a luxurious feel that can be used daily or when your skin needs some extra TLC.
And, as a first for Biologi, we’ve packaged the precious oil formula into a 100ml beautiful dark violet (miron) glass bottle with a pour reducer lid for easy, no waste application and product efficacy.
