Sensitive Skin

- Sensitive skin is a genetic skin type and not caused by external factors

- It’s typically always been reactive or easily irritated

- Common traits include pale skin and pale eye colour

- Often flushes or blushes easily

- May be linked to the atopic triad: eczema, asthma, or hay fever

Dry Skin

- Dry skin type is also called lipid dry skin

- Characterised by a lack of oil

- Small pores and finer skin texture

- Never feels oily or looks shiny

- Can feel tight or taut

Balanced Skin

- Often referred to as ‘normal’, though we prefer 'balanced skin'

- Neither overly oily nor overly dry

- Has a balanced oil flow

- Doesn’t feel tight or reactive to stimulus

- Has a regular, even skin texture

Combination Skin

- Feels balanced or drier on the outer areas of the face

- Feels oily and appears shiny through the centre (T-zone)

- A mix of dry and oily areas across the face

Oily Skin

- Has overactive oil glands that produce excess oil

- Appears shiny or greasy, with a thicker texture

- More prone to breakouts or congestion if not managed

- Avoid over-cleansing, as stripping the skin can lead to even more oil production
